i've had this idea for a movie in my head for a while....a boat sailing in a quiet lake at night..the main character on deck with a table that has a single candle and a blank book with a telescope next to it...as the character looks through the telescope a spotlight shines into the night sky and illuminates all the stars and constellations and lights up certain planets that start to slowly zoom into view...the character looks away and opens the sketchbook on the table and places it under the eyepiece of the telescope which burns a strange design into the paper...the character then rips out the page and heads below deck of the ship...the scene then switches to a forest with the main character climbing out of a hole in a tree...I wanted to the forest to have lots of sea shells and starfish scattered around with the faint noises of the ocean in the background (maybe so whale songs too just for fun)...after wandering around for a little bit the character would come across a statue holding some kind of plate with an identical design to the one made in the book...the character would place the page over the plate and a figure would come out of the forest and tell the character some kind of story from the planet that had inscribed the design...maybe the main character could even be part of the story in some way...but through the story the main character would obtain a fragment of a metallic sun which they would return to the upper deck and place in a picture frame next to the entrance...then resume sailing around the lake finding more planets and going below to recieve a new story and a new piece of the sun...maybe there could be another character thats floating around in the lake that gets rescued by the main character and could accompany them on the adventure...it would end when all the pieces of the sun were completed and then the morning sun would come in brilliantly and the main character would dock the boat and have a pancake breakfast in a little shack right next to the lake...
